  ANKENY
  
  Eric Dale Ankeny, 32, of 15889 Donner Pass Road, Truckee, Calif., formerly
  of Somerset, died Sept 18, 1998, in Truckee, Calif.  Born Dec 6, 1965, at 
  Plantation, Broward County, Fla., the son of Larry Dale and J. Yvonne
  (Eakin) Ankeny.  Preceded in death by grandfather, Fred W. Eakin Jr.
  Survived by wife, the former Christine Tiffany Hier, whom he married July
  26, 1997.  Brother of Mrs. Todd (Jennifer) Beahr, Boswell.  Also survived by
  maternal grandmother, Inez (Miller) Eakin, Somerset; paternal grandparents,
  Harold D. and Elsie (Sarver) Ankeny, Somerset, and 2 nieces, Molly and Megan
  Beahr.  A 1984 graduate of Somerset Area Senior High School.  Employed as a
  construction supervisor for Sugar Bowl Ski Resort, Truckee, Calif.  Friends
  will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Thursday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral
  Home, Somerset, where services will be conducted at 10 am Friday, with the
  Rev. Dr. Arthur J. Gotjen officiating.  Interment, St John's Cemetery.
