  ANKENY
  
  Harry E. Ankeny, 84, of High St., Somerset, died Jan. 14 1985, at
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.  Born Aug. 20, 1900, in Lincoln Township, son
  of the late Frederick and Agnes (Barndt) Ankeny.  Also preceded in death by
  his wife, the former Marie Rose, and a brother, Roy.  Survived by son Neil,
  Somerset RD 6; grandson David; and great-grandchildren Jonathan and
  Christopher.  He was a brother of Mrs. Mae Britt, Somerset.  He was a member
  of Grace United Methodist Church, Somerset Volunteer Fire Dept. and the
  Laurel Ridge Sportsmen.  Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Wednesday
  at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home where service will be conducted
  Thursday at 3:30 pm, the Rev. H. Wayne Beam officiating.  Interment, Husband
  Cemetery.  Somerset Volunteer Firemen service at 7:30 pm Wednesday at the
  funeral home.  Family suggests in lieu of flowers contributions be made to
  the American Cancer Society.
