  Mary Etta ANKENY
  
  Mary Etta Ankeny, 78 of Somerset, died March 6 in Somerset Community
  Hospital.  Born Jan. 19, 1898 in Somerset County, daughter of David and Ella
  (Hyatt) Gerhard.  Preceded in death by husband Roy R., two sisters and one
  brother.  Survived by these children: Mrs. Ernest (Nora) Miller; and Jack D.
  of Somerset; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.  She was a sister
  of Harold Gerhart of Rockwood RD 1; Clara Gearing of Masontown and Mrs.
  Goldie Walker of Columbus, Ohio; Mrs. Otto (Helen) Hoover of Morongo
  Walley, Calif.; Mrs. Anna Bowby of East Liverpool, Ohio.  Member of the
  First United Methodist Church in Somerset.  Friends are being received in
  the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home where service will be conducted at
  1:30pm Tuesday with the Rev. John Cox officiating.  Interment, Somerset
  County Memorial Park.
