Ankeny, 54, Rockwood RD 3, died June 3, 1987, in West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born June 10, 1932, in Lincoln Township, a son of the late Edmund and Myrtle (Felix) Ankeny. Survivng are his wife, Shirley (Mognet) Ankeny, and four children: Ray of Columbus, Miss.; Keith of Morristown, Ariz.; Yvonne Cramer of Rockwood; and Beth Rose of Confluence; six grandchildren; three brothers: Carson of Louisville, KY.; Clyde of Johnstown; and Walter of Davidsville, Md.; and two sisters: Francis Koloczynski of Leedsdale; and Mabel Lyons of Somerset; also a half-brother, Bob Wisener of Ambridge. Preceded in death by brother, Calvin: and four half-brothers. Veteran of Korean War. Attended the Confluence Church of the Nazarene. Friends being received from 10 am to 9 pm, Friday, and from 10 am until 1 pm Saturday at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Saturday in the Confluence Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Thomas Charles officiating. Interment, Barron's Cemetery. No viewing at the church.
