WILLIAM ANKENY

  William Ankeny, 88, a well-known farmer, died at his home in Milford Township 
last Saturday afternoon.  He was a son of Henry and Mary Cunningham Ankeny.   
His wife, Lydia Dull Ankeny, survives with the following children: Mrs. Grace 
Wilt, Youngstown, Ohio, Edward and Harry Ankeny, R. D. 1, Somerset.  There are 
four grandchildren.
  The funeral was held Monday at 1 p.m. at the family home.  Rev. H. G. Hohman 
of the Lutheran pastorate at Rockwood officiated.  Burial in Grandview Cemetery, 
Johnstown, in charge of Charles Hauger, Somerset mortician.
