  Cloyd E. ANKNEY
  
  Cloyd E. Ankney, 61, of Somerset RD 3, died Feb. 21, in the Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born March 29, 1912 in Jefferson Township a son of the
  late William H. and Margaret (Lizzie) Kimmel Ankeny.  Survived by his widow,
  the former, Laura Emma Katherine Ferry and these children: Robert E. and
  Ronald W. of Somerset RD6; Mrs. John (Barbara) Balmer of Lancaster; Mrs.
  Ronald (Pamela) Rhodes of Sipesville; 13 grandchildren and these brothers
  and sisters: Edward K., Mrs. Frank (Sue) Walker, Mrs. Fred (Irene) Rhodes
  all of Somerset RD 3; Mrs. Alda Shaulis of Somerset, Mrs. Wilbur (Grace)
  Crossen of Kent, Ohio; Mrs. Walter (Marian) Cocher of Johnstown; Emory J.
  of Lancaster; Mrs. Earl (Velma) Barclay of Rockville, Md. and these
  step-brothers and sister, Ernest, Merle, Ray and Mark Kimmel and Mrs.
  Jennie Parsons.  He was preceded in death also by his step-mother, Mrs. Mary
  Miller Kimmel Ankeny and two brothers and a sister.  Friends will be received
  after 2 pm Saturday in the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home where services
  will be conducted Sunday at 4 pm with the Rev. Paul Scruton officiating.
  Interment Betheny Cemetery.  Family suggests that contributions be made to
  the Betheny Church Memorial Fund.
