  Lori J. (Hittie) Ankney, 35, Newport News, VA., formerly of Berlin, died
  Dec. 2, 1998, at home.  Born April 21, 1963 in Meyersdale, daughter of
  Dwayne and Marion (Barth) Hittie of Berlin.  Also survived by husband,
  Andrew L.; son, Sean David; sisters, Barbara Pyle and Jayne Platt, both of
  Berlin; special aunt, Jo Smith, Parkersburg, WVa.; father and
  mother-in-law, Lewis and Ray Ellen Ankney, of Somersety; sister and
  brothers-in-law, Renee Meager, Eric and Tyler Ankney; also several nieces
  and nephews.  Preceded in death by grandparents, Henry and Marion Hittie and
  Robert and Agnes Smith.  A 1981 graduate of Berlin-Brothersvalley High
  School.  Member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Berlin.  Family will receive
  friends from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin.  Service
  will be held at 10 am Saturday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Berlin.  No
  viewing at the church.  Rev. Melvin A. Kirk Jr. Interment, Berlin IOOF
  Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be given to Hospice Home
  Care Program, 500 J. Clyde Morris Blvd, Newport News, Va., 23601 or a
  breast cancer research program.
