  W. Richard Ansell, 83, of Rockwood RD 3, died Feb. 26, 1983, in Memorial
  Hospital, Johnstown.  Born Dec. 1, 1899, in Somerset County, a son of John
  M. and Sadie (Gary) Ansell.  Survived by one son, Donald K. Ansell of
  Rockwood RD 2; three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Mardell) Snyder, Rockwood RD
  3; Mrs. Roy (Jean) Pletcher, also of Rockwood RD 3; and Mrs. Glenn (Sara)
  Kreger, Somerset; two brothers, Clarence Ansell, Rockwood RD 3; and Frank
  Ansell, Newport, Pa.; two sisters, Mrs. Ralph (Olive) Gary, Rockwood RD 3;
  and Mrs. Harold Meyers, Somerset; 21 grandchilren; and 19
  great-grandchildren.  Preceded in death by wife, Capitola (King) Ansell,
  July 16, 1960; four brothers; one sister; and one grandson.  Member of
  Scullton Christian Missionary Alliance Church.  Friends will be received in
  the William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood, Monday from 4-9 pm, where
  services will be conducted Tuesday at 1:30pm with the Rev. Robert Becker
  officiating.  Interment to follow at the Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
