SARAH APPEL

  Miss Sarah Appel, aged 33, died Monday, April 7, at her home, South Edgewood 
Avenue, Somerset.  She was born in Meyersdale, a daughter of William C. and 
Bertha K. (Deeter) Appel, and had been ill for some time.
  Surviving besides the parents are four brothers - William Appel of Slippery 
Rock; Frederick Appel, Canfield, O.; John Appel, Chicago, Ill, and Edwin Appel, 
Highland Union, N.M.  She is a granddaughter of W. H. Deeter, Meyersdale.
  Private funeral services were held at the home, Wednesday at 2 p.m., Rev. 
George L. Roth, officiating.  Burial under direction of Charles R. Hauger, was 
made in the Meyersdale Union Cemetery.
