  Joseph V. Arcail Sr., 86, of 54 President's Road, Bourne, Mass., formerly
  of Jerome, died Feb. 14, 1990, in the Eisenhower Medical Center, Palm
  Springs, Calif.  Born Sept. 15, 1903, in Barcelona, Spain, son of Vincente
  and Rosa (Belluire) Aracil [sic].  Preceded in death by parents; granddaughter,
  Kathryn Arcail; and one sister, Rosa.  Survived by wife, the former Carmella
  C. "Mollie" Pronesti, and children: Joseph V. Jr., married to Kay Mahl,
  Groton, NY; Carmella "Honey," wife of Steven Kletjian, Boston, Mass., and
  Victoria, wife of Ralph Gallucci, Stoystown RD 1; grandchildren: Joseph
  Arcail III, Thersa (Arcail) Giamichael and Amy (Arcail) Roncase, and Ralph,
  Michael and Victoria Gallucci; also four great-grandchildren; sister,
  Vincenta, and brother, Vincenete, both of Barcelona, Spain.  Member of St.
  John the Evangelist Church, Bourne.  Former miner and retired auto body
  mechanic, including 35 years service at the former Terrace Chevrolet,
  Jerome.  Observed 53rd wedding anniversary, June 29, 1989.  Resident of
  Bourne since 1981.  Arrangements, in charge of Hoffman Funeral Homes,
  Boswell, incomplete.

  Friends received from noon to 4pm and 7-9 pm Sunday, where Wake service
  will be held at 3:30 pm.  Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am Monday at Holy
  Cross Catholic Church, Jerome, Father Conrad Salach, OFM Conv., Celebrant,
  and Father Bonaventure Jezierski, OFM Conv., co-Celebrant.  Interment, Mt.
  Carmel Cemetery.
