  Mrs. Laura M. Arden, 57, RD 5 Somerset, died Feb. 17, at her residence.
  Born Oct 1, 1916, in Pitcairn, a daughter of the late Harvey and Lillian
  Brecker Howard.  Preceded in death by one sister.  Survived by her foster
  mother, Mrs. Elva Hanson Sarver, RD 2 Somerset; husband, John C., and these
  children; Mrs. Glen (Arlene) Butler RD 2, Somerset; Mrs. Ralph (Helen)
  Barndt, Somerset; and John C., Jr., at home.  Two grandchildren, and these
  sisters: Mrs. Charles (Irma) Racey, RD 2, Somerset and Mrs. Jake (Dorothy)
  Supanick, RD 2, Boswell.  Friends receieved after 3pm Monday in the Richard
  E. Hauger Funeral Home, Somerset, where services will be conducted Tuesday
  at 1:30 pm, Rev. Paul Weber officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial
  Park.
