Arisman, 88, of 1126 S. Pugh St., State College, formerly of Jennerstown, died Dec 17, 1982, at Centre Community Hospital. Born Aug. 17, 1894, in Jennerstown, son of Jacob and Dora Etta (Shultice) Airsman. Preceded in death by parents, sister and four brothers. Survived by widow, the former Matilda B. Bentley; son, Frank Bentley, married to former Mary Ann McCabe, Dobbs Ferry, NY; daughter, Janice McGuire, Chambersburg. Member of State College Presbyterian Church and associate member of Mt. Laurel United Church of Christ, near Gray. Employed for 25 yerars by Armstrong Cork Co., Lancaster. In 1945 became a management consultant. Employed for 15 years in the foreign aid field, serving in 22 countries, under the auspices of the US Government and the United Nations. Service at 11 am Tuesday at Mt. Laurel Church with the Rev. Joseph M Beer officiating. Interment, Beam Cemetery. No viewing at the church. Memorial contributions to Mt. Laurel Church would be appreciated. Arrangements by Hoffman Funeral Home, Bosell.
