  Edna ARMAGOST
  
  Mrs. Edna R. Armagost, 68, Hooversville RD 1, died March 29, 1974, at the
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born Sept 5, 1905, in Stanton Mills, Pa., the
  daughter of the late Charles and Martha (Barndt) Stanton.  Also preceded in
  death by a brother, Arthur; a sister, Catherine Stutzman; a grandson,
  Donald Marshall; and a son, Robert.  Survived by husband, Ernest L. and
  these children: Ruth Marshall Benchoff, 134 Fieldstone Ave., Johnstown;
  Donald, married to the former Mary Jane Weaver, 611 Horner St., Windber;
  Dawna, wife of Gary Williams, Boswell RD 1; and Barbara, wife of Owen Ott,
  Hooversville RD 1; also 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
  Sister of Mrs. Hulda Gondor, Bud Lake, NJ; Meredith, Windber RD 1; Ross,
  Hollsopple RD 1; and Eugene, Tire Hill.  Member of the Maple Spring Church
  of the Brethren, Loyal Biblel Class, Women's Fellowship Circle 3 and Senior
  Citizens.  Death breaks a marriage of 49 years.  Family receiving friends from
  7-9 pm Saturday and 2-4 and 7-9 pm Sunday at the George E Mason Funeral
  Home, Davidsville.  Prayer service will be conducted at 1:30 pm Monday at
  the later residence, followed by funeral service at 2pm at the Maple Spring
  Church of the Brethren, the Rev. Carroll S. Ringgold and the Rev D. Edward
  Cauffiel.  Interment POS of A Cemetery, Hooversville.  Remains will lie in
  state at the church from noon Monday until time of service.
