  Ernest ARMAGOST
  
  Ernest L. Armagost, 74, of Hooversville, RD 1, died Aug. 16, 1975 at
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born on April 3, 1901 the son of the late
  Jerry Armagost and the former Ida Jane Kelly.  Preceded in death by one
  brother Chester and two sisters: Irene Jones and Nellie Olesleger, one son,
  Robert and one grandson, Donald Marshall, his wife, the former Edna Stanton
  died March 29, 1974.  He is survived by these children: Mrs. Ruth (Marshall)
  Benchoff, 135 Fieldstone Ave. in Johnstown, Donald and his wife the former
  Mary Jane Weaver of 611 Horner St., Windber, Dawna and husband Gary
  Williams, Stoystown, RD 1 and Barbara and husband Owen Ott, Hooversville RD
  1.  Also survived by 11 grandchlidren and three great-grandchildren and by
  these brothers and sisters: Mrs. Violet Karlstrom, Hunington Beach, Calif.,
  Lee of Tarpon Springs, Fla., Blair of Panama City, Fla., Mrs. Ruth James of
  Philadelphia and Sheldon of Pittsburgh.  He was a member of the Maple
  Springs Church of the Brethren, a member of the senior citizens, member of
  the Loyal Bible Class and served as treasurer.  He retired from US Steel in
  Johnstown and a former coal miner and servied in the US Navy.  Friends will
  be received 7-9 Monday and 2-4 and 7-9 Tuesday in the George E Mason
  Funeral Home in Davidsville with a 1:30 prayer service at the late
  residence.  Remains will lie in state from 12:30 to time of service which
  will be held at the Maple Springs Church of the Brethren where services
  will be conducted at 2pm Wednesday the Rev. Carroll Ringgold and the Rev. O
  Edward Cauffiel officiating.  Interment POS of A Cemetery in Hooversville.
