  Rena ARMSTRONG
  
  Rena Brant Armstrong, 82, of Garrett died April 12, 1979 at Meyersdale
  Community Hospital.  
  Born January 24, 1897 in Garrett, she was a daughter of William L. and Ida
  (Hoover) Brant.  She was preceded in death by husband, Grover C., who died
  in 1961; parents, three sisters, and three brothers.  
  She is survived by two sisters: Mrs. C. Ward (Helen) Miller of Sterling
  Heights, Mich.; and Mrs. John A. (Louise) Habel of Garrett; also three
  nieces and three nephews.  
  She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Grace
  United Church of Christ, Garrett; the Ladies Aid Society; and was a former
  choir director and organist for the church.  
  Friends were received at the Brant family home in Garrett where services
  were held with the Rev. George E. Bowersox Sr. officiating.  Interment,
  Highland Cemetery, Garrett.
