Born Sept. 23, 1913, in Shaffertown, she was a daughter of the late Elmus A. LeMasters and Nora Hope (Martin) LeMasters. She was a member of the Maple Spring Church of the Brethren. She is survived by her husband, Ernest W. Arnold; three sons, Clifton C Arnold and Bernard E. Arnold, both of Aurora; Ernest E. Arnold, Davis WVa.; two daughters, Mrs. Janice Loughrie, Grantsville, Md.; Mrs. Carolyn Lee Thrasher, Cumberland, Md.; two brothers, Garland LeMasters and Warren LeMasters, both of Parkersburg, WVa.; three sisters, Mrs. Nellie Brock, Eglon; Mrs. Ruth Smith, Akron, Ohio; Mrs. Marie Knotts, Oakland, Md.; 12 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandsons. Services were conducted at the Maple Spring Church of the Brethren Friday at 1 pm by the Rev. Roger Fike, assisted by the Rev. Galen Fike. Interment, Stemple Ridge Cemetery, near Aurora.
