  Robert ARNOLD
  
  Robert L. Arnold, 72, of Rockwood, died June 8, 2000, at Mercy Hospital in
  Pittsburgh.  Born March 7, 1928, in Jerome, a son of Clark L. and Frances R.
  (Deneen) Arnold.  Preceded in death by parents, sisters Elizabeth Arnold and
  Lillian Steele and brother Samuel Arnold.  Survived by his wife, the former
  Betty Landis.  His passing ended a marriage union of 52 years.  Also four
  children: Theresa, married to J. David Migot, of Somerset; Aleta, married
  to Douglas Brougher, of Markleton; Kevin, married to Robin Brant, of
  Jamestown, NC., and Eric, married to Melissa Scheller, of Rockwood; two
  grandchildren: Ashley and Brittany Arnold; and brother Clark Arnold of
  Somerset.  He was retired from the car shops of Bethlehem Steel in Johnstown
  with 32 years of service.  Member of Messiah Lutheran Church in New
  Centerville and the Rockwood Historical and Genealogical Society.  He was an
  avid hunter, fisherman and maple producer.  Friends will be received 7-9 pm
  Saturday and 2-4 and 7-9 pm Sunday at the Miller Funeral Home, Somerset.  A
  funeral service will be held at 3pm Monday at Messiah Lutheran Church, the
  Rev. Charles Aurand officiating and pastors John Palko and Ralph Landis
  assisting.  Interment, Union Cemetery, New Centerville.  Memorial
  contributions may be made to the Rockwood Historical Society, PO Box 95,
