  Harvey ARTICE
  
  Harvey F. Artice, 83, of near Markleysburg, died at his residence on
  Saturday, July 7, 1973.  
  
  Born in Bedford, he was a son of the late Odril and Julie (Hemming) Artice.
  
  He was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Confluence, and was a
  veteran of WWI.  He was also a member of the Markleysburg Henry Clay Fire
  Department.   Mr Artice is survived by his widow, the former Hazel
  Flintstone; two sons, Ray Artice, Accident; and Ronald Artice,
  Friendsville; five daughters, Mrs. Faye Humbertson, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.;
  Mrs. Julie Wilbon, Baltimore, Md.; Mrs. Catherine Savage, Rt. 40,
  Markleysburg; Mrs. Naomi Griffith, Friendsville, and Mrs. Betty Uphold,
  Confluence; also 16 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a brother,
  Milton Artice, Markleysburg.  
  
  Funeral service was conducted Tuesday afternoon in Newman Funeral Home,
  Friendsville, with Rev. Ronald Hickson officiating.  Interment in Steele
  Cemetery.
