  Hazel ARTICE
  
  Hazel I. Artice, 77, Confluence, died Saturday, June 26, 1982 in Somerset
  Cummunity Hospital.  Born in Mount Pleasant, she was a daughter of the late
  Peter Firmstone and Julia (Logan) Firmstone.  She was preceded in death by
  her husband, Harvey F. Artice.
  
  She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Confluence.  Surviving
  are two sons, Ray Artice, Accident, Md.; and Ronald Artice, Friendsville,
  Md.; five daughters, Faye Humberson and Catherine Savage, both of
  Markleysburg; Julia Wilbon, Baltimore, Md.; Naomi Griffith, Friendsville,
  Md.; and Betty Uphold, Confluence; one brother, Peter Firmstone, Jr.,
  Greensburg; 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
  
  Friends were received in the Newman Funeral Home, Friendsville, where a
  service was held with Rev. August Twigg and Rev. John Hickson officiating.
  Interment followed in Steele Cemetery, Friendsville.
