  Betty L. (Nicklow) Ash, 64, of Jennerstown, died the evening of March 10,
  1996, at home.  Born Jan. 28, 1932, in Acosta, daughter of John Elmer and
  Mary Belle (Ogline) Nicklow.  Preceded in death by parents; daughter, Trudy
  Lee Walker; infant grandson, six sisters and one brother.  Survived by
  husband, David Jr.; Davideen, wife of Gerald Oester, Somerset RD 5; Betty
  Miller, Boswell RD 2; Valerie, wife of Steven Robatin, Blaubauch, Germany;
  David L,.  married to Linda Baughman, Warsaw, Ind.; Lisa, wife of Donald
  Penrod, Boswell RD 1; Amy Critchfield, Somerset RD 2, and Kevin at home.
  Also survived by eight grandchildren and one great-great grandson.  Sister
  of John, Robert and Beatrice Nicklow all of Acosta; Jean Mehalic,
  Loyalhanna; Ada Brobst, Allentown, and Mary Lou Gowarty, Columbia, Pa.
  
  Member of Christ Casebeer Evangelical Lutheran Church, Somerset RD 2.
  Observed 45th wedding anniversary Aug. 11, 1995.  Friends received from 7-9
  pm Tuesday and 2-4 and 7-9 pm Wednesday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main
  Street, Boswell.  Service at 11 am Thrusday at Christ Casebeer Church, the
  Rev. Dwight A. Huseman officiating.  Interment Somerset County Memorial
  Park.  No viewing at church.  Memorials made to the Windber Regional Hospice,
  Windber Pa., 15963, would be appreciated.
