Ash, 80, of South Park Ave, Somerset, died July 29, 1988 at the Somerset Community Hospital. Born May 12, 1908 in Somerset, son of the late Harry B. and Binnie (Young) Ash. Preceded in death by parents, a sister, Gladys Ash, brother Lloyd, and stepsisters, Mary Belle Yinkey, and Evelyn Kknovach. Survived by his wife of 56 years the former Rosie S. Hoffman, a daughter Gladys R. Keiffer of Somerset, granddaughter Mrs. Alex (Linda) Amill of New Jersey, two grandsons, Jeffrey and Dennis Keiffer of New Jersey, six great-grandchildren, one brother David W. Ash of Somerset three stepsisters, Mrs. Olive maust of Berlin, Mrs. Shirley R. Henneke of Vorrhee, NJ. Mrs. Marian Mae Hale, Mantea, Ohio, three stepbrothers, Norman Suder and Ralph Ash, both of Somerset, Harry W. Suder of Berlin RD 4. Member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles of Somerset. A lifelong Somerset County farmer. Member of Somerset Bible Baptist Church. Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 pm Saturday and Sunday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home. Funeral Service at the Somerset Bible Baptist Church Monday at 11am Rev. Dale Lyzbicki officiating. Interment, the Sipesville Cemetery. Viewing at the church one hour prior to funeral service.
