  Evelyn F. Ash, 70, Somerset RD 6, died April 5, 1987, at Somerset Community
  Hospital.  Born Dec. 21, 1916, in Somerset, a daughter of the late Harry and
  Maggie (Burket) Burket.  Preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Ash,
  March 24, 1987.  Survived by these children: Janet, wife of Wilbert Walker,
  and Wilma, wife of William Stahl, both of Somerset RD 4; Betty, wife of
  Dwight St.Clair, Boswell RD 2; Ruth, wife of Richard Peterson, Somerset RD
  6; Donald, married to former Nancy Emert, Somerset RD 6; and James, married
  to former Esther Faidley, Somerset RD 4; 24 grandchildren and 13
  great-grandchildren.  Sister of Hazel Showman, and Mabel Burket, both of
  Somerset; Amanda Bowman, Meyersdale; Thelma Neveling, Garrett RD 1; Martha
  Cramer, Somerset RD 3; two half-sisters: Eva Emert, Somerset; and Twila
  Sevits, Berlin.  Member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, Bakersville, belonged
  to Bakersville Vol. Fire Dept. Auxillary.  Friends will be received ater 7
  pm today (Monday) and 2-4 and 7-9 pm Tuesday at Robert H. Halverson Funeral
  Home where services will be conducted Wednesday at 11am the Rev. Richard
  Schalk.  Interment, Bakersville Cemetery.
