  Homer ASH
  
  Homer V. Ash, Sr., 69, of Accident, Md., RD 1, died in Garrett County
  Memorial Hospital.  Born at McHenry, he was a son of the late Joseph and
  Ellen J. Bender Ash.  His wife, Alta S. Knox Ash, preceded him in death.
  
  Mr. Ash was a retired lumberman and attended Sand Flat Assembly of God
  Church.  Surviving are three sons: Homer R. of Accident, Charles E. of
  Byhalia, Miss., and Joseph N. of Memphis, Tenn.; three sisters: Mrs. Lydia
  Sweitzer of Swanton, Md., Mrs. Minnie Hay of Berlin and Mrs. Hula Thornberg
  of Greensboro, NC.; A brother, Robert Ash, of Oakland and nine grandchildren.
  
  Services were conducted May 4 at the Sand Flat Assembly of God Church, the
  Rev. Gail Hixon officiating.  Interment was in the Thayerville Cemetery.
