Born May 11, 1933, in Somerset County, he is the son of the late Harry and Olive (Miller) Ash. Also preceded in death by brother Lloyd Ash, sister Marian Mae Ash, half-sisters Evelyn Novak, Mary Belle Yinkey and infant Gladys Ash, and half brothers Norman Suder, Charles Ash and David Ash. Survived by wife, the former Audrey Jean Baumgardner; children: Mrs. Jack (Kerri) O'Baker of Somerset and Kennety Ash of Sewickley; sisters: Mrs. Francis (Olive) Maust of Berlin and Mrs. John (Shirley) Law of South Carolina; half brother Harry Suder of Somerset; and grandson Chase Edward O'Baker. Attended Kingwood Church of God. US Army veteran of Korean Conflict. Retired from the electrical department of the Somerset State Hospital. Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Sunday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where services will be held at 11am Monday, with the Rev. James I. Monticue officiating.
