MARTHA ASHBY

  FRIENDSVILLE, Md., Jan. 4 - Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon for 
Mrs. Martha Kahl Ashby, 80, formerly a resident of Oakland, Md.  She died at the 
home of her brother, William Kahl, in Accident, Md., Friday.  Last rites were 
held in the English Lutheran Church, Accident, conducted by Rev. J. Wilson 
Harner.  Interment was made in the Accident Cemetery.  Her husband preceded her 
in death a number of years ago.
