  Mrs. THOMAS ASHURST
  
  Mrs. Leora Ashurst, 82, of 274 Maplewood Ave., Struthers, Ohio, died April
  12, 1972, in St. Elizabeth Hospital there.
  
  Born Aug. 1, 1889, in Salisbury, she was a daughter of Jesse T. and
  Margaret (Cochrane) Jeffrey.  She went to Struthers 54 years ago, after
  living in Brownsville, Pa.
  
  She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church, Youngstown, Ohio; Corem
  Chapter of Eastern Star, Aut Mori Cauldren and Wide Awake Temple of Pythian
  Sisters.  Her husband, Thomas Ashurst, to whom she was married in 1909, died
  in 1939.  She is survived by two daughters, Miss Leora Ashurst, at home; and
  Mrs. Florence Goebricher of Conneaut.
  
  Funeral service was held Saturday, April 15, at Davidson Becker Funeral
  Home and in her church.
