  ALICE ATCHISON

  Alice Mae Atchison, 71, of Main St. Rockwood, died Oct. 18, 1997, at
  Somerest Hospital.  Born May 16, 1926, in Meyersdale.  Daughter of the late
  George H. and Alice May Kathryn (Burley) Shuck.  Preceded in death by
  husband, George Atchinson, in 1996; sisters Cheryl Livingood, Rachel Kemp,
  sister Iva in infancy and brothers George H. and Harry W. Shuck. 
  Survived by the following children: Mrs. Clarence (Alice Mae Kathryn)
  Hoffman of Friedens and Linda Lee Atchison of Rockwood.  Five grandchildren
  and five great-grandchildren.  Retired cook for Holiday Inn and Howard
  Johnson.  Member of the Mildford United Methodist Church.  Friends will be
  received 2-4 and 7-9 pm Monday and Tuesday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral
  Home, Rockwood, where funeral service will be conducted at 11 am. 
  Wednesday, Rev. John Ludwick officiating.  Interment, Hauger Cemetery.  In
  lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family.
