She was born May 18, 1906, in Annapolis, Md., a daughter of the late George Wells and Mary Tuck Willcox. She is survived by her husband, Marshall T., and two daughters, Barbara Frances Augustine Swearman of Addison, and Tarrant McCutchen Augustine of Hummelstown. Also four grandchildren and a brother, retired captain George W. Willcox of San Diego, Calif. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Claude Willcox Doolin and Mary Tuck Willcox. She was a member of St. Ann's Episcopal Church of Annapolis, Md., and a graduate of Towson University. She taught for over 40 years in private and public schools of Anne Arundel County, Md. She was active in many organizations, including the Maryland Retired Teachers Association, the National Association of Retired Teachers and the Annapolis Historical Society. For the past 25 years, she resided in Addison, where she attended St. John's Lutheran Church, and was a charter member of the Old Petersburg-Addison Historical Society, and a member of the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy. A memorial service will be held at 3pm Friday, Dec. 16, in St. John's Lutheran Church, Addison, with the Rev. William Triebee officiating. Interment St. Anne's Espicopal Cemetery, Annapolis, Md. Family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. John's Luteran Church of Addison or the Old Petersburg-Addison Historical Society.
