She was surrounded by her loving family in her Addison home. According to her own words, she writes: "Faye Augustine, born Aug. 6, 1946, in New London, Conn. I am survived by my husband, George Richard Augustine; three children, Amber (Augustine) Zelinsky, Aaron and Serena Augustine, and Adam and Jamie Augustine; four grandchildren, Heather and Jennifer Zelinsky and Alexander "Cody" and Jelysa Faye Augustine. I graduated from Hempfield Senior High School in 1964 and the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. I worked in Philly, Pa., as a commercial artist and in Norfolk, Va., for two years. I married Dick on Oct. 7, 1967, and moved back to Pa. I worked at Fayette County Community Action Agency on Aging for 25 years until retirement. My free time was taken up with community services. I belonged to the Girl Scouts for 52 years, enjoying camping, backpacking and my troop. I've earned many pins, representing positions I've held and places that I've been. My years of service to the Girl Scouts included: leader (all levels), district chair, Catholic Committee on Scouting, trainer of trainers, and representative of national convention, area chair, trainer, cookie chair, high adventure, and council training committee. I was a founder and charter member of the Connellsville Little House Society, which was started in 1990 where young girls were able to gather and learn to always "Be Prepared" through girl scouting. For 10 years, I held the position of president for this society. I was Grandma Honey of the Grandma Honey's Singers and Dancers, performing for more than 20 years with 10 to 30 seniors all over Pa. at fairs, schools, the senior games, and various senior centers. I have spent more than 20 years working with the Wagon Train with its four-day trek from Grantsville, Md., to Mount St. Macrina. I was and will always be a Queen Red Hater of the Uniontown chapter of which I was the cofounder in 2003. I am predeceased by my mother, Estella Righino; my father- and mother-in-law, Jasper and Margaret Augustine; my maternal grandmother, Francis Verner; my paternal grandparents, Frank and Yvonne Righino; my niece, Amy Righino Mullaney; and my nephew, David Altman. I am survived by my father, Frank Righino; my sisters and brothers, Yvonne Mulhorn (Ronald), David Righino (Marlene), Lorraine Elder (David), Gary Righina, Rachelle Repine (Mark), And Brian Righino (Colleen); my brothers-in-law, Todd Augustine (Jane) and David Augustine (Wayne); and numerous nieces, nephews, and their families. Donations are to be made to the Connellsville Little House Society, P.O. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Andrew D. Ferguson Funeral Home Inc., 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Visitation will continue in the funeral home from 9 to 10 a.m. on Monday, followed by a Mass celebrating Faye's life at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Farmington, with the Rev. Fr. James L. Popochock as celebrant. Interment will follow in Addison Cemetery, Addison. Parish wake service will be held in the funeral home at 3 p.m. on Sunday.
