  GERTRUDE AUGUSTINE
  
  Gertrude F. Augustine, 82, of Meyersdale, died June 12, 2002 at Beverly
  Healthcare, Meyersdale.  Born July 13, 1919 in Meyersdale, a daughter of
  the late Frank and Martha (Miller) Deist.  Also preceded in death by her
  husband, John Augustine Sr.; two brothers and two sisters.  Survived by
  three children: John J. Augustine Jr. and his wife Geneva Lois, Frostburg,
  Md.; Carol A., wife of Bernard Beal, Meyersdale; and William J. Augustine
  and his wife Janet S., Meyersdale; two grandchildren Julie A., wife of
  James M. Kretchman; and John Jason Augustine; and a great-granddaughter,
  Mary Katherine Kretchman.  Also survived by two nephews and four nieces. 
  Gertrude was a member of the Meyersdale Grace Brethren Church, Friends will
  be received 2-4 and 7-9 pm Thursday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale,
  where service will be conducted at 2 pm Friday, with the Rev. Randy L.
  Haulk officiating.  Interment Union Cemetery, Meyersdale.
