  James Edgar Auman, 77, Penn Ave., Somerest, died April 2, 1998, at Somerset
  Hospital, Somerest.  Born June 15, 1920, in Jefferson Township.  Son of the
  late Ross R. and Bertha Mae (Ream) Auman.  Also preceded in death by wife,
  the former Mary Susan (Miller) Walker-Auman, who died on March 6, 1980;
  granddaughter, Jacqueline Reitenbach; brother, Fred R. Auman; sister, Rugh
  Gerhardt.  Survived by these children: Mrs. Richard L. (Betty Louise) Lease
  of Milton, Pa.; Ross Wayne Auman, married to the former Gail Gorman, of
  Somerset; grandchildren: Ms. Dawn M. McManus and Christopher J. Lease both
  of Milton; Bruce D. Lease of Montandon, Shawn R. Auman of Altoona, Jessica
  A. Auman of Pittsburgh; 9 great-grandchildren.  Also a brother, William P.
  Auman, Somerset.  Member of Faith Lutheran Church; VFW Post 554,
  Somerset.  Army veteran of WWII.  Retired in 1983 from Somerest Foundry
  with 35 years of service.  Friends received from 3-5 and 7-9 pm Sunday at
  the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home.  Services will be conducted at 11 am
  Monday at Faith Lutheran Church, Somerset, with the Rev. Randall J.
  Marburger officiating.  Interment, Willis Cemetery.  Contributions may be
  made to Meals On Wheels, 235 W. Church St., Somerset, PA 15501.  Viewing at
  the church from 10 to time of service.
