Born Sept. 7, 1914, in Berlin, daughter of Claude and Effie (Deitz) Van Orner. Preceded in death by parents and husband, Earl E. Austin. Survived by 3 sons: Dr. Van and David, both of Salt Lake City; and Jim, Los Angeles, Calif.; also grandduaghter, Alicia. Former member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset. She and her spouse owned several local businesses including Austin's Dress Shop in Berlin and Somerset, Austin Oldsmobile, Austin Memorial and Austin Welding and Steel. Avid bridge player and former member of Somerset Country Club and numerous civic organiztions. Graveside service will be held on Saturday at 1 pm at Berlin IOOF Cemetery.
