  DAVID AVERY
  
  David Lee Avery, 57, of St. Augustine, Fla.  and formerly of Jenners passed
  away July 31, 2000 at the Earl B. Hadlow Center for Caring, Jacksonville,
  Fla.  A son of the late Lewis Avery who died in 1984.  Survivors include:
  his wife Barbara; daughters, Teresa Emanuel, Christine Rivers and Cherly
  Garris; mother, Evelyn Avery, Jenners; sisters, Jackie Bowlin,
  Williamsburg, Va., and Cindy Peterson, Altoona; brothers, Kenneth Avery,
  Prince Frederick, Md., and Lewis Avery, Stafford, Va., and five
  grandchildren.  A 1960 graduate of the former JBJ Joint Schools.  Was a
  member of the Anastasia Baptist Church, St. Augustine and involved with the
  Promise Keepers.  Was a store manager for many years and a veteran of the US
  Navy.  Memorial services were held Aug. 3 at the Anastasia Baptist Church.
