BERKEBILE-Garner G., 57, Hooversville, died Sept 4, 1966, at home. Born May 8, 
1909, in Hooversville, son of Adam C. and Vida (Wagner) Berkebile. Survived by 
mother; widow, former Nellie Dull; daughter, Garnel, wife of Eugene Ferre, 
Hooversville, and 5 grandchildren. Brother of Paul, Hollsopple; Thelma, wife of 
Alvin Clark; Mrs. Emma Veres, and Lois, wife of Clyde Peterman, all of 
Hooversville, and Frances, wife of George Faulkner, Somerset. Preceded in death 
by father. Prominent Somerset County mortician and owner of Berkebile Funeral 
Home, Hooversville. Member and financial secretary of Hooversville EUB Church. 
Member of Hooversville Lions Club. Treasurer of Hooversville Borough Council. 
Memeber and treasurer of Hooversville Fire Company. President of Somerset County 
Funeral Directors Association. Member of Pennsylvania and National Funeral 
Directors Association. Friends received from 7 to 10pm Monday and from 2 to 4 
and 7 to 10pm Tuesday at Berkebile Funeral Home, Hooversville, where service 
will be held at 2pm Wednesday, the Rev Robert Peterson. Interment, POS of A 
Cemetery. Arrangements handled by Joseph H Hoffman Funeral Home, Boswell.
