BERKEBILE-Mrs. Vida B, 81, died about 2am July 1, 1967, at home of daughter, 
Mrs. Thelma Clark, 105 Highland Avenue, Hooversville. Born April 15, 1886, in 
Lambertsville, daughter of George and Sarah (Lambert) Wagner, deceased. Preceded 
in death by husband, Adam C., whom she married Nov. 25, 1903, in Hooversville, 
and son Garner Berkebile, who died Sept 4, 1966. Survived by these children: 
Paul Berkebile, Hollsopple; Mrs. Frances Faulkner, Somerset RD 3; and Mrs. 
Thelma Clark, Mrs. Emma Veres and Mrs. Lois Peterman, all of Hooversville; also 
15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Sister of Miss Gladys Wagner, 
Jennerstown; Mrs. Alice Ream, Jenners; Cline Wagner, Somerset RD 2; Telford and 
Hastings Wagner, both of Stoystown RD 2, and Orlo Wagner, Hollidaysburg. 
Hooversville resident past 62 years. Member of Hooversville Evangelical United 
Brethren Church and auxiliary to Hooversville Volunteer Fire Company. Charter 
member of Dames of Malta. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 10pm Monday at 
Thomas P. Read Funeral Home, Hooversville, successor to Berkebile Funeral Home, 
where service will be held at 2pm Wednesday. Interment, P O S of A Cemetery, 
Hooversville.
