  William M. Babalonis, 84, Davidsville, died Sept. 22, 2004, at UPMC Lee 
  Regional, Johnstown. Born Sept. 2, 1920, in Somerset County, a son of
  Michael  and Martha (Rogosky) Babalonis. Preceded in death by parents;
  stepfather, Samuel  Zelenkovich; brothers, Charles and Anthony; sister
  Rosella Florip;  stepgrandchild; first wife, the former Ella R. (Todero)
  Negast. Survived by wife  of 15 years, the former Ruth Birkhimer and these
  stepchildren: Florence, widow  of Jack Spangler, Clovis, New Mexico,
  Josephine, wife of William Shetler,  Davidsville, Jack Negast married to the
  former Betty Havrilak, Niagra Falls,  N.Y. and Fred Negast married to the
  former Mary Bracken Universal City, Texas.  Deborah Birkhimer, Johnstown,
  David E. Birkhimer Stoystown, Daniel T. Birkhimer,  Berlin RD, nephew, Thomas
  and wife Gail, Hooversville, and a niece Susan  Babalonis, and her daughters,
  Johnstown. Cousins, Eleanor Hlivko, and Ann  Plunkett both of Johnstown. He
  was a self employed plumbing and heating  contractor and subcontractor for
  Sears for over 20 years. He was a member of  Saint Anne's Catholic Church,
  Davidsville. Family receiving friends from 7 to 9  p.m. Sunday at George E.
  Mason Funeral Home Inc., Davidsville, where vigil for  the deceased will be
  held Sunday evening. Funeral Mass 10 a.m. Monday at Saint  Anne's Catholic
  Church. Committal Forrest Lawn Cemetery.
