    Joseph Babela, 91, Laurel Crest Manor, formerly of Johnstown, died Sept.
  23, 1983, at Mercy Hospital, Johnstown.
    Friends were received at Edward Moskal Funeral Home.
    A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. Stephen's
  Catholic Church, the Rev. Msgr. John B. Golias, officiating. Interment,
  Grandview Cemetery.
