  BADERTSCHER, Thea 09/29/06 Daily American 
  
  Thea Badertscher, 98, Johnstown, formerly of Somerset, died Sept. 28, 2006, at
  Allegheny Lutheran Home, Johnstown. Born Nov. 20, 1907, in Cholm, Germany, the
  daughter of Karl Fridrerick and Theofile (Engelhard) Komke. Preceded in death
  by parents; husband, Alfred Albert Badertscher, who died Dec. 30, 1997; and
  brothers, Heinrich and Gustav Komke. Survived by nieces, Mrs. Lydia Komke and
  Mrs. Ottilia Meyer, both of Hamburg, Germany. Thea was a member of Trinity
  Lutheran Church. There will be no viewing or visitation. A service will be
  conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset. The
  Rev. Linda J. McElroy officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
