  Cora E. Baer, 81, Jerome, formerly of Meyersdale, died Aug. 11, 1983, at home.
  She was born March 3, 1902, in Meyersdale.
  She was a daughter of the late Jacob and Lydia (Tipton) Beals.
  She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter, one brother and three sisters.
  She is survived by a nephew, Roy J. Steckman, Jerome, with whom she resided.
  Also survived by other nieces and nephews.  She was a member of WCTU, DAR,
  and the Historical Society.
  Friends were received at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where services
  were conducted with the Rev. Lloyd Wilson.  Interment, Union Cemetery.
