  BAER
  
  Dale Eugene Baer, 66, 3562 Greenville Road, Meyersdale, died March 8, 1999,
  at Meyersdale Manor Nursing Home.  Born May 31, 1932, in Greenville Township.
  Son of the late Marshall and Tillie (Baer) Baer.  Member of St. Mary's
  Catholic Church, Pocahontas, Pa.  A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
  Also a member of Grantsville Post 214, American Legion.  Survived by his wife,
  Margaret C. (Drees) Baer; a son, David E. Baer, Meyersdale; a  daughter,
  Theresa Kamp and husband, Ed, Grantsville; 2 brothers: Wayne Baer, Salisbury,
  and Paul Baer, Meyersdale; a sister, Barbara Bodes, St. Paul, Pa., and two
  grandchildren, Angie and Neil Kamp.  Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9
  p.m. Wednesday at the Newman Funeral Homes, Pa., Grantsville, Md.  Mass of
  Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's
  Catholic Church, with the Rev. Bernard White officiating.  Interment, Finzel
  Cemetery.  A Christian wake service will be held  at 8:45 p.m. today in the
  funeral home.  Graveside military rites will be accorded by Grantsville Post
  214 American Legion.
