  BAER
  
  Daniel A. Baer, 82, Somerset RD 6, died Jan. 12, 1987, at Somerset Community
  Hospital.  Born Jan. 16, 1904, in Somerset Township, son of the late Herman
  and Ida (Miller) Baer.  Also preceded in death by his wife, Ethel, in 1969;
  one sister, one brother and a granddaughter.  Survived by one daughter, Mrs.
  Leon (Frances) Rhodamer, Somerset RD 5; foster son, Richard Custer, Somerset;
  12 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one sister, Mary Baer, Windber; and
  one brother, William J. Baer, Somerset RD 4.  Retired custodian of Somerset
  Area schools.  Member of Somerset Church of the Brethren.  Friends will be
  received from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the
  Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at
  I1 a.m. at the Somerset Church of the Brethren, with the Rev. Roger Forry
  officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers,
  family requests memorials be given to the Somerset Church of the Brethren
  building fund.  Viewing of the remains at the church one hour prior to the
  funeral service.
