  EDWARD H. BAER
  
    Edward H. Baer, 85, of Gormania RD 3, W. Va., died Feb. 21, 1978, in the
  Garrett County Memorial Hospital, Oakland, Md.
    Born October 24, 1892, in Rockwood, he was a son of the late George and
  Mary E. (Baker) Baer.
    Mr. Baer was a retired woodsman and coal miner.
    Surviving are his widow, Fannie M. (Bosley) Baer; three daughters, Mrs.
  Bernice Thomas, Sang Run, Md.; Mrs. Ethel Victor, Villa Park, Ill.; Mrs.
  Roseanne Messer, Gormania; one son, Harrison L. Baer, Arlington, Va.; three
  sisters, Mrs. Pearl Berkley, Meyersdale; Mrs. Anna J. Austin, Westernport,
  Md.; Mrs. Ida Burton, Cumberland, Md.; 12 grandchildren and 21
  great-grandchildren.
    A private service and interment was held Thursday at Garrett County
  Memorial Gardens Chapel with the Rev. Oscar W. Hull officiating.
