She was born October 25, 1853, in Greenville Township, where she resided practically all her life, a daughter of Peter and Maria Miller, and was the last of their family of thirteen children. In 1874 she united in marriage with Isaiah Baer, to which union ten children were born, six of whom are surviving: Miss Ella Baer, Mrs. James Weigle, and Mrs. Frank Keefer, all of Somerset; W. G. Baer of Salisbury, Mrs. Sadie Albright of Meyersdale and Mrs. Bruce Cook of Weehawken, N.J. About four years after the death of her husband, April 16, 1914, Mrs. Baer moved from Greenville Township to Salisbury, where she resided until about four years ago when she came to live with Mrs. Albright. When she was about twenty years of age she united with the Greenville Lutheran Church. Upon moving to Salisbury she transferred her membership to the Lutheran church there, of which church she was a member at the time of her death. Funeral services were conducted at three o'clock on Sunday afternoon in the Greenville Lutheran Church by her pastor, Rev. S. D. Sigler. Brief services were held at the Albright home by Rev. H. K. Hilner, local Lutheran pastor. Interment was made in Greenville Cemetery in charge of H. R. Konhaus, local mortician. Meyersdale Republican, April 10, 1941
