    Glenn A. "Bill" Baer, 85, of Turtle Creek, Pa., died July 1, 1996, at
  Beverly Manor, Monroeville, Pa.
    Born Oct. 4, 1910, he was the son of the late Albert J. and Margarette
  (Lee) Baer.
    He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert B.; and sisters, Leona
  Johnson and Pauline Polefrone.
    Mr. Baer is survived by his wife, the former Mary Holler, originally of
  Boynton; two daughters: Nancy Cassady, Murrysville; and Beverly Nabors,
  Turtle Creek; three grandchildren: Amy Whitford and Brett Cassady, Maryland;
  and Rebecca Nabors of California; and one great-granddaughter, Caitlyn
  Whitford.
    He is also survived by his brother, F. Dale Baer, and sister, Ruth L. Bice,
  both of Berlin.
    Mr. Baer was a retired employee of the Westinghouse Corporation of East
  Pittsburgh.  He was a member of the Electric Heights Methodist Church.  He was
  a graduate of Meyersdale High School.
    Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Jobe Funeral Home in
  Turtle Creek.  Interment, Salisbury IOOF Cemetery.
