    Glenn S. Baer, 75, of Fort Howard, Md., died unexpectedly Dec. 10, 1995, at
  his home.
    Baer was born and raised in Meyersdale.
    He was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Hay.
    He is survived by his wife of 48 years, the former Shirley Blake; the
  following children: Gene Baer, Brenda Cochran, Ruth Elaine Baer and Glenda
  Sigler; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  He was the brother
  of Larry Baer and Bonnie Hay.
