  Grace Baer, 83, Rockwood, died July 27, 2005, at Somerset Hospital. She was
  born Nov. 9, 1921, in Somerset County, a daughter of the late Alva and Cartha
  Showman Basinger. In addition to her parents, Grace is predeceased by her
  husband Clyde "Griz" Bear, a daughter Betty McMillen and two sisters Stella
  Neel and Goldie Schroyer. Grace is survived by her loving children Edward Dean
  Baer, Rockwood; Dorothy Green, Florida, and Shirley Henry and her husband
  Howard, Rockwood; 14 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 8
  great-great-grandchildren. Grace had been a resident of Rockwood since 1953.
  Prior to her retirement in 1979 Grace worked as a selector for the Anchor
  Hocking Cup Plant in South Connellsville. Family and friends will be received 2
  to 9 p.m. Thursday and 12 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Clyde Brooks Funeral Home
  Inc., Route 711 Melcroft, where a funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday.
  The Rev. Boyd Race officiating. A committal service and interment will follow in
