  Jacob F. Baer, 57, Houston, Texas, formerly of Friedens RD 1, died March 25,
  1977 at home.  Born April 13, 1919 at Friedens RD 1, son of the late Harvey J.
  and Grace Hiteshew Baer.  Survived by Katherine Cross Baer, sisters, Ruth Mort
  and Harvey G. of Somerset; Maud Hafer of Pittsburgh; and a brother, Fred L.
  of Friedens.  He was a United States Air Force Major during World War II and
  the Korean conflict.  He is a retired employe of the Shell Oil Company.
  Military services will be held at Houston National Veterans Cemetery Tuesday
  at 10 a.m.  Interment at same cemetery
