  BAER 
  
  James D. Baer, 85, of Meyersdale, died June 5, 2003 at Meyersdale Medical
  Center.  Born Feb. 20, 1918 in Meyersdale a son of the late William and Mary
  (Cuzzins) Baer.  Also preceded in death by his wife the former Orpha L. Jones;
  two sisters, Martha Fike and Ruth Cogan and four brothers; Raymond, Harold,
  Byron and William.  Survived by his daughter, Rebecca "Becky", wife of James
  R. Sanner, Meyersdale and two grandchildren, Sara and Michael.  A brother of
  Mary Bolden, LaVale, Md. Veteran of U.S.  Army World War II and was a retired
  construction worker.  Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday
  at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale where service will be conducted 11 a.m.
  Monday with the Rev. Timothy Shivler officiating.  Interment Union Cemetery
  Meyersdale.
