  Jennie Mae Baer, 89, of Somerset RD 5, died Jan. 23, 1996, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Feb. 5, 1906, in Listie, daughter of the late Chauncey and
  Sarah Catherine (Ross) Wechtenheiser.  Also preceded in death by sisters:
  Viola Watkins, Elizabeth Queer, Lulu Stahl, Rose Bosie-Welsh and Gladdis
  Wechtenheiser, and these brothers: Howard, Charles, W., Robert, and Homer
  Wechtenheiser, and four infant children.  Survived by husband, Kenneth Edgar
  Baer, with whom she would have celebrated her 63rd wedding anniversary on
  Feb. 4, 1996, and these children: Donald F. "Yogi" Baer, married to the
  former Peggy Berkey, Somerset; Mrs. James R. (Shirley Ann) Stiffey, Berlin RD
  4; Mrs. Vernon (Debby) Troutman of Berlin RD 1, a granddaughter whom she
  raised, and eight grandchildren: Terry, Tracy and Todd Baer, Mrs. Terry
  (Tammy) Miller, Mrs. Brian (Tina) Dunton, Louis Gross Jr., Belinda Gross and
  Johnny Stiffey, and seven great-grandchildren.  Member of Listie Grace
  Brethren Church.  Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4
  and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where
  services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, with the Rev. Ronzil I. Jarvis
  officiating.  Interment, Listie Cemetery.
