  BAER

  Mary S. Baer, 95, of the Church of the Brethren Home, Scalp Level, formerly
  of Somerset, died Oct. 3, 1987, at the home.  Born May 16, 1892, in Somerset
  Township, daughter of the late Herman and Ida (Miller) Baer.  Preceded in
  death by parents; a brother, Daniel; sister, Anna; and an infant brother.
  Survived by brother, William J. Sr., Somerset RD 4; and several nieces and
  nephews.  Member of the Somerset Church of the Brethren.  Friends will be
  received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home.
  Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Somerset Church
  of the Brethren, where remains will lie in state one-half hour before the
  service, with the Rev. Roger Forry officiating.  Interment, Somerset County
  Memorial Park.
